ScarINK - Scar Therapy
Targeted Scar Reduction and Tissue Remodelling.
ScarINK scar therapy is a specialised treatment designed to support the reduction of scars and improve skin irregularities of various origins. The main aim of the therapy is to remodel affected tissue, improve skin quality and restore comfort and mobility in the treated area.
The effects of ScarINK therapy are not limited to visual improvement alone. By supporting tissue regeneration and flexibility, the treatment may also help reduce tightness, discomfort and functional restrictions often associated with scar tissue.
The therapy is based on controlled micropuncture techniques, also referred to as dermal puncture or dry needling (not to be confused with microneedling performed with a pen or roller). The method involves precise puncturing of the skin using a single needle or a cluster of needles, depending on the type, depth and condition of the scar.
Treatments are performed using the specialised PURO device, developed specifically for working with scar tissue. Sapphire and diamond needles are used to allow effective yet minimally traumatic work on damaged areas, supporting tissue remodelling while protecting surrounding skin.
Scar therapy is a gradual process. Each treatment plan is created individually, with techniques and treatment intervals adapted to the skin’s response and the characteristics of the scar. The goal is long-term improvement in skin quality rather than rapid cosmetic change.
Scars we can work with include:
-
post-operative and post-surgical scars (including caesarean section, mastectomy, blepharoplasty, plastic surgery and hair transplant scars),
-
acne and chickenpox scars,
-
burn scars,
-
traumatic and injury-related scars,
-
scars following permanent make-up or tattoo removal,
-
scars and discoloration after herpes in the lip area,
-
adhesions and scar tissue following fractures or trauma.
Personalised home care guidance is provided to support skin regeneration and optimise treatment outcomes.
